Project Assistant (part time position)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is looking for a part-time Project Assistant for the Maternal Child and Reproductive Health Initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the ICARIA and SafeStart Project Manager and Project director in the daily functioning of the projects
- Support for other projects/activities of the Maternal Child and Reproductive Health Initiative
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Support in the organization of the in-person ICARIA DSMB meeting taking place on November 25th in Barcelona
- Assist in the scheduling and planning of meetings
- Assist in the preparation of briefing notes, minutes, and presentations
- Assist in planning and organizing project trips, and or project-related events
- Assist with the procurement of office supplies and equipment for the project
- Other tasks related to the project or the MCRH Initiative as directed by Initiative’s director
- Occasional research-related support, such as compiling and formatting research-related materials (e.g., reference lists, tables, summaries), or quality data checks under the guidance of the research team.

SKILLS

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Public Health, Social Science, Global Development Studies or related fields.
- Some experience working on Maternal Child and Reproductive Health projects is a plus
- Genuine interest in learning about maternal, child, and reproductive health programs, global health, and in supporting multidisciplinary research and implementation work.
LANGUAGE LEVEL
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Catalan and Spanish
CONDITIONS
- Duration: 6 weeks

- Salary: According to ISGlobal internal salary scale

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
