Technician for RESONATE Project
The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is seeking a highly motivated technician for a part-time, temporary engagement in the EC funded RESONATE project RESONATE (“Building individual and community RESilience thrOugh NATurE-based therapies”). The successful candidate will be exposed to a network of Europe’s most prominent researchers in the field of associations between nature and human health. The candidate will support the organization and implementation of the RESONATE Spotlight Series. The position involves practical event coordination, communication, and logistical support before, during, and after each event. The assistant will work closely with the RESONATE coordination team and other partners involved in the Spotlight Series.
RESONATE is funded by the EU’s research and innovation Horizon Europe (HE) program under GA No 101081420.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning and organizing Spotlight Series webinars, hybrid, and in-person events.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Set up and manage event registration through Eventbrite and other relevant platforms.
- Support the preparation of event materials (e.g., agendas, speaker bios, background slides)
- Provide technical support during online webinars
- Troubleshoot minor technical or logistical issues during events.
- Liaise with speakers, participants, and partner organizations to coordinate event details
- Take notes or use AI tools during events and prepare short summaries when required
- Maintain and update the Spotlight Series overview in the RESONATE internal documentation.
- Support the dissemination of event outputs and recordings through RESONATE communication channels
- Keep track of event schedules, deadlines, and task lists
- Support reporting on participation and engagement metrics

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field, e.g. environmental studies, public health, or biomedicine is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working with digital tools (especially Eventbrite, Zoom, or Google Workspace
- Good written and spoken English; additional languages, especially Spanish, are an asset
- Experience in assisting with data collection and descriptive analysis.
- Interest in nature-based solutions, health and well-being, or sustainability topics is desirable

CONDITIONS
- Duration: 3 months

- Salary: Technician II D (20.808€ gross annual)

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
