Research Technician for SHE-WORK project

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is seeking a Research Technician who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project SHE-WORK: Trabajo por turnos, salud sexual y mental de las mujeres, y mecanismos biológicos.
Contratado para el proyecto PI25/00767 , financiado por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III y cofinanciado con fondos FEDER.
The overall project goal is to improve our knowledge of the impact of extreme circadian disruption due to shift work on women's sexual and mental health, and shed light on behavioural and biological mechanisms that may lie on the causal pathway.
The Technician will be in charge of contacting the participants, organization of the field work, and arranging the collection and shipping of the samples.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep a control and register of the calls to the participants
Administer the questionnaire by phone
Keep a control of the participants that fill the online questionnaire
Also, the technician will be responsible for the samples management, from the collection, storage and shipments to the laboratories for analyses.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Clinical assistant technician
Broad experience in the role of research technician in epidemiology
Mandatory to have previous experience in conducting field work for epidemiological studies
Mandatory experience in contact with participants and conducting epidemiological interviews
Be able to work in a multicultural environment
LANGUAGE LEVEL
Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.

Duration: 6 months

Salary: Technician I D (34.680€ gross annual)

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
