Human Resources Training Officer

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is looking for a HR Training Officer who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all internal training activities delivered to staff within the institution. This role ensures that training plans are implemented, managed, and executed in alignment with the institution’s strategic needs, in compliance with current regulations, and with a focus on optimizing internal talent development.
This is considered a strategic role for the institution’s future. The selected candidate will be developed to grow into a leadership position as the Training Focal Point, progressively assuming greater responsibility and autonomy in managing internal learning and development, and leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of competency development plans.
Additionally, this position will dedicate 20% of working time to supporting recruitment processes, acting as a backup when the Recruitment Lead is absent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End Training Management (80%)
Organize all logistical aspects of training delivery, including registration management, room bookings, coordination with training providers, and preparation of required materials.
FUNDAE training grants management
Budget control
Attendance monitoring: Track and manage employee attendance in training activities, ensuring compliance with requirements for training grant eligibility.
Training plan design support
Internal staff training
Training delivery and evaluation
Future Training Lead role
Recruitment Support (20%)
Participation in recruitment processes: Support recruitment activities as needed, including profile definition, job posting, CV screening, and interview coordination.
Recruitment backup: Cover recruitment responsibilities in the absence of the Recruitment Lead, ensuring continuity of hiring processes and smooth communication with candidates and hiring managers.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in training management and/or recruitment.
Solid knowledge of the bonus system (Fundae)
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR management platforms.
Familiarity with digital tools for training and recruitment management.
Experience in training plan design and budget management is an asset.
LANGUAGE LEVEL
Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
