Outreach Technician on Antimicoribal Resistance (AMR)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is seeking a looking for OUTREACH TECHNICIAN POSITION for the AMR research group who is interested in taking over and managing activities involving:
Design and develop of WAAW campaign 2026 and other scientific outreach event
Participation in research projects to develop their dissemination and participatory strategy
Participate in the analysis of the outcomes of the different activities defined in projects involving participatory research and interaction with partners
Participate in the writing of the reports, projects and outreach materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop the scientific outreach, citizen and participatory science practices and activities in the AMR field, related to the patient communication and engagement for health professionals and other agents and stakeholders of public health, based on previous analysis and needs of the research groups of the same field.
Design of citizen-oriented materials and actions on the topic.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Generation of outreach tasks.
Participation in the analysis of the outcomes of the activities and resources.
Support on the project reports within the research group that include participatory science and scientific outreach actions.
Participation in the project and institutional meetings involving participatory research.
Design of potential new activities, projects and programs related with AMR.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in outreach activities and citizen engagement in the AMR field
Experience in Science communication and development of citizen-oriented projects in AMR.
Experience in design of creative communication resources, and participatory and citizen science methodologies.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Candidate with initiative, creative, hard worker and with good teamwork skills. Advanced knowledge of English, Spanish and Catalan.
LANGUAGE LEVEL
Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.
CONDITIONS
Contract: 3 months, part time (30 hours per week)
Salary: Technician I D
Work-Life Balance: 36 days off per year (23 vacation days + 13 personal days)
Start date: June 2026

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
