Project technician
The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is looking for a motivated and organized professional to coordinate and manage the language and cultural integration activities for non-Catalan-speaking staff at IDIBAPS, Hospital del Mar Research Institute, and ISGlobal. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, educational or cultural programs, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of Catalan and/or other languages is an asset.
The technician will be integrated into the Comunication department, contributing to the successful implementation of project activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all activities related to the language and cultural integration program.
Serve as the main contact for participants, instructors, and facilitators.
Ensure smooth planning and execution of courses, conversation groups, and cultural activities.
Monitor participant progress and feedback to improve program quality.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of project management and organizational skills.

LANGUAGE LEVEL
Proficiency in Catalan and English.
CONDITIONS
Contract: 1 month, part time (25h per week)
Salary: 30.055 (for a full time position)
Work-Life Balance: 36 days off per year (23 vacation days + 13 personal days)
Start date: July 2026

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
